The Super Bowl was on Sunday. We all watched the game (well, most of us did) and paid extra special attention to the commercials because that’s the best part (well, some of us think so).
There were a lot of dogs and a lot of babies. There were some misguided spots based on misguided crowd sourcing. There were a bunch of pop culture icons (George Lucas made a lot of money). There was the usual bland dribble and predictable frat boy humor. There were a few timely references and well-executed ideas. There was a love letter to Detroit/Chrysler/America/Clint Eastwood’s voice [cue goosebumps].
Oh, and the Giants won.
